The Habitat for Humanity Halton-Mississauga ReStore is a retail store concept that accepts donations of overstocked, gently used, discontinued items and salvageable building materials donated from manufacturers, other stores, local contractors and the public. Items that are donated include new and gently used furniture, building materials, appliances, cabinetry, sinks, countertops, household and décor items, lighting and much more. The ReStore then sells those donated items to the public at a reduced cost, typically 30-70% percent less than the original retail value.

Shopping at a Habitat ReStore is a socially conscious decision as funds generated are used to build Habitat homes for local families in need. Charities, like any other organization, incur administrative fees.
