About
Minneapolis-based mixed media artists, Peter Geyen & Jed Staack, use a variety of materials (Bronze, Iron, Glass, Wood, Chrome, Fiberglass, Ceramic, Paint, etc...) and methods to create abstract diorama-style artwork. Most of the work is large... at least 6ft by 4ft and weighs at least 100lbs. The number of hours put into each piece is difficult to calculate, but it is an abnormally high number. Peter Geyen Art also organizes a non-profit benefit art show in downtown Minneapolis every year at the IDS Center Crystal Court... information can be found on our events page. Most pieces are displayed on oversized, steel easels (created by Peter) which tower up to 20ft in the air. Much of the art is available for purchase or lease, with a portion of all proceeds being donated to Children's HeartLink.
