Welcome and blessings to you. I'm Jessica; Mother to two Hypno-birthing born boys, wife, Certified DONA Birth Doula, Child Educator, and Reiki Healer.

Life in Progress organically presented itself as I transitioned into Mother to Levi and River. My passion behind LIFE IN PROGRESS comes from sharing my story from darkness to light and wholeheartedly consciously embracing life.

My passion for helping mommas spawned when my exciting journey into motherhood came crashing down with post-partum depression directly after the birth of my first boy, Levi. During my six week check-up, my Dr diagnosed me with full blown post-partum depression. I thought my feelings were simply the “baby blues”; I didn’t take the diagnosis seriously because I didn’t want to be “drugged up.” However, it was much darker than I imagined and it got worse as time went on. I was not prepared for the downward spiral that would engulf me for the next 18+ months.
