Those of us who work analytically are trained to listen hard to what is out of your awareness – what you may know as the unconscious. Saying whatever comes to your mind is how we access the unconscious. When I listen to what you say and try to say it back to you from a new perspective, you begin to hear your deeper repetitive patterns and self-defeating behaviors. Together, we begin to untangle dysfunctional thinking and related feelings.
