Animals have always been an important part of my life. Growing up in the Midwestern farmland area we always had at least one dog in the house. Later in life, we had several rescues, and watching them transform from frightened untrusting animals into the most loving family-friendly dogs was an amazing experience. My Petbar journey began partly with those rescued collies and shepherds. Washing them in the backyard was always a fun family event and the dogs were full of excitement and energy when they were done. The happiness would usually fade quickly though since I didn’t have an efficient way to dry them and I’d watch them roll around in the grass and dirt to dry off. Never seemed to find my special groomer either or even a preferred one that stayed in place for long. The Petbar concept was a perfect match, allowing me to provide pet owners with all the tools and services they need in a fun, customer-focused environment.
