At OxyHubs, San Diego Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy, we provide Hyperbaric Oxygen Treatments to adults and children. This process requires the customer to breath pure oxygen at an increased pressure. In order to achieve this increased pressure, the customer must receive the treatment while in a pressurized environment; a hyperbaric oxygen chamber. Under these conditions, your lungs can gather up to three times more oxygen than would be possible breathing pure oxygen at normal air pressure. However, this type of treatment is often used in conjunction with additional therapies to facilitate healing of various conditions.

Treatment takes place in a sealed chamber where oxygen and pressure are steadily increased. he hyperbaric chamber itself is cylindrical in shape, made out of thick, clear plastic so the customer can see out in all directions. Treatment sessions usually last for 90 to 120 minutes.
