In addition to her work in private practice, Dr. Krant is Assistant Clinical Professor of Art Of Dermatology at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in NYC and has authored textbook chapters as well as journal articles for publication, consulted for industry, and presented at medical conferences. Recently, Dr. Krant has been named to Consumer Reports’ new Medical Advisory Board as their sole dermatologist. Her opinions are quoted in the press and she has been a regular beauty columnist for Consumer’s Union ShopSmart Magazine as well as a contributor to their OnHealth Newsletter. She is the sole dermatology expert for the well-known healthcare website Caring.com and is a member of the Editorial Board of Cureus.com, a new format for the public to have access to peer-reviewed scientific research articles.
