1st Choice Leisure Buildings can trace their lineage back almost forty years to a time when Robin Antill was selling a range of cheap and basic garden sheds which were made by a company in Essex. Frustrated at the quality of these buildings he went on to establish a manufacturing company a few years later which would become one of the South's largest and most renowned manufacturers of timber garden & leisure buildings.

With the distraction of day to day operations slowing down development of the products he decided that he should sell that company - it is still going today - and, since the turn of the century, the focus has returned exclusively to retail. Using the reputation that he had built up within the industry he was able to reach agreement with a number of the country's most versatile manufacturers of garden & leisure buildings (in timber, metal, concrete and plastic) to offer what is reputed to be the most comprehensive range of buildings available anywhere.
